Where to park

Season pass: Park in the lot shown on your pass: Lot 6, or Lots 8 and 9.
Single game: Lot 1 (the East Campus Parking Deck), Lot 8 or Lot 36. No grills in the deck.
Early lots: Lots 6, 8, 9, 10 and 72 open at 8 a.m. Everything else opens 4 hours before kickoff.
From Route 8: Take exit 1A, then Carroll St to the checkpoint near Carroll and Spicer. Lot 1 is right there.
RV: Overnight parking, RVs included, only in designated lots with UAkron Park's approval (330-972-7213).

Use Route 8. Akron's own directions run fans in and out on Route 8 via the Carroll St exit, not downtown.
Go the long way around Spicer. The no-left onto Spicer from Exchange applies on game day, so plan the Fountain St loop.
Cut through downtown. Akron itself tells you not to on busy days. Listen to them.

Grills: Small gas grills in open surface lots only. Charcoal is banned anywhere on campus. No grills in parking decks.
Alcohol: Subject to Ohio law on all campus property, parking areas included. No outside alcohol into the stadium.
Tents: Up to 10 x 10 feet. No staking into ground or pavement, no blocking lanes, and someone stays with it.
Your space: One parking space per vehicle and setup. Don't block traffic lanes. No saving spaces.
Not allowed: Selling food, drinks or merchandise. Outside caterers need Aramark approval.
Restrooms: Portable restrooms sit next to the tailgating areas.
Bags at the gate: Clear, up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches, or a 1-gallon clear bag, plus a small clutch.
Gates open: 1 hour before kickoff.
