Where the party is

Kennesaw State keeps its tailgate tight: lots along Busbee Drive, one space per setup, and everything wrapped up by kickoff. The Black Lot holds the single-game tailgate spots, and students get their own lot just north of the stadium.

The main lot

Black Lot tailgate area

Single-game reserved spots marked off nearest the Gold and Green lots. Each one has space for a 10 x 10 canopy and a parking spot, sold online up to 48 hours before the game.

The student side

Student tailgate lot

Marked on the 2026 map north of the stadium, with upper and lower sections.

The weekend crowd

Grey Lot

The only lot for RVs and buses, west of Busbee Drive, with bus and RV spots sold online.

What to eat

Propane and other grills are allowed as long as someone's watching them, so cook what you like in your space.

Getting out

The stadium sits between two interstates, and everyone wants on one of them. Your options, best first:

  1. Wait out the rush in your space. Lots stay open 2 hours after the game, so there's no need to bolt.
  2. Head for the interstate you came in on. I-75 is west of the stadium and I-575 is east, both reached from Big Shanty Road and Chastain Road.
  3. From the Purple Lot, walk back over I-75. You skip the stadium lot exits entirely.
  4. Skip this

Merge onto Big Shanty with the whole lot at once. Possible. Not recommended.

First time here?

  • Lots open 5 hours before kickoff.
  • Tailgating stops when the game starts.
  • One parking space per setup, canopy in line with your car.
  • No glass, kegs or common-source containers.
  • Buy single-game Black Lot spots at least 48 hours ahead.
  • Clear bag only, up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches.

Visiting? How to join a tailgate

Prepaid day parking in the Black, Grey, WCC or Purple lot is the easy way in for visitors. Walk Busbee Drive in your colors with something to share and say hello before you step into a setup.
