Cordova
Cordova makes rotomolded hard coolers, a wheeled cooler and a backpack cooler, and says its rotomolded coolers come out of its own factory in Idaho. The company is veteran-owned and based in the Pacific Northwest, and it built its first coolers for commercial deep-sea fishermen, per Cordova.
Where are Cordova coolers made?
Cordova says its rotomolded hard coolers are made at its factory in Idaho. Its drinkware is made in East Asia and customized in Idaho, per Cordova's FAQ.
Why rotomolded instead of injection-molded?
Cordova says rotational molding makes the shell one seamless hollow piece with no glued joints. Some makers, like Taiga, use injection molding instead; see our hard cooler guide to compare sizes.
How do you get the most ice life out of a Cordova?
Keep the lid shut. Cordova's rule is that air is the enemy of ice, and an open lid costs real ice time. Pre-chill the cooler and the food, and use frozen ice packs under the cubes.
