Quick answers

What time do the lots open for UNLV games?

Parking lots open 4 hours before kickoff, and there's no lining up to enter until 1 hour before the gates open. Tailgating runs for those 4 hours and stops at kickoff.

Can you grill at UNLV tailgates?

UNLV's 2026 parking page and fan guide don't post a grill or fuel rule for Allegiant Stadium lots.

Can you drink at UNLV tailgates?

UNLV doesn't post a lot alcohol rule beyond the code of conduct, which applies in the lots and bars intoxication that leads to irresponsible behavior. No alcohol goes into or out of the stadium, and sales inside end after the 3rd quarter.

Do you need a ticket to tailgate at UNLV games?

You need a valid parking pass to tailgate on Allegiant Stadium property, and the code of conduct says spaces are only for guests attending the event. A pass only covers a parked vehicle, not an empty space.

How do you buy parking for UNLV football?

Buy on UNLVtickets.com, season or single game; passes must be bought in advance and scanned when you arrive. Nearby Allegiant-run lots sell through SpotHero, and Rebel Athletic Fund donors get priority on new parking sales.

When it ends
At kickoff. No tailgating or loitering in the lots during or after the game, and lots are cleared 1 hour after it ends.

Where the party is

UNLV game day happens in an NFL stadium's lots, run by the Rebels' own rules. You get 4 hours and a painted line, so the crews that do it well show up early, set up tight and pack fast.

The official one

Rebel Pregame Party

The official pregame party from the UNLV Alumni Association and UNLV Athletics, in Lot C before every home game, with food, drinks and music. It's ticketed.

Closest lots

Lots A, B, C and E/F

The UNLV lots wrapped around the stadium.

Student lot

Lot S

The student lot south of Polaris Ave, with tailgating behind each space and limited passes that go on sale the Sunday before each game.

What to eat

UNLV doesn't post a grill rule for the Allegiant lots, so plan on cold food and a cooler, or check with the stadium first.

Getting out

Everyone leaves Allegiant at once, and the lots clear 1 hour after the game. Your options, best first:

  1. Ride the Game Day Express back. Return service to the UNLV Transit Center starts right after the game and ends 40 minutes after.
  2. Walk to Lot N for rideshare. It's the official pick-up spot on Dean Martin Dr, a short walk north of the stadium.
  3. Take the Lot V shuttle. If you parked in Lot V, ride the game-day shuttle back instead of walking.
  4. Skip this

Linger past the hour. Every lot empties at once. Pack up early in the 4th quarter if you want a head start, and be off the lot within the hour.

First time here?

  • Buy your parking pass ahead on UNLVtickets.com. It gets scanned at the lot.
  • Lots open 4 hours before kickoff. Tailgating stops at kickoff.
  • Stay behind the safety line, about 3 feet from the back of your space.
  • Everything is cashless, from parking to concessions.
  • Clear bag only, gates open 90 minutes before kickoff, and no re-entry.

Visiting? How to join a tailgate

Start at the Rebel Pregame Party in Lot C if you want the official scene, or walk the UNLV lots before kickoff and say hello with something to share. Harassing visiting fans is grounds for ejection, so expect a fair welcome.
