Dix Stadium's lots open 3 hours before kickoff, and Kent State asks fans to arrive at least an hour early to be sure of a spot. Charcoal grills are encouraged, but propane tanks, glass and kegs are banned in the stadium lots, and your tailgate can't spill into empty spaces or the drive lanes. Leave the propane at home. Kent State is a charcoal crowd.
