Quick answers
What time do the Reser Stadium lots open?
Tailgating can start 6 hours before kickoff, but never before 7 a.m. Tailgate pods open at 8 a.m., except at weekday games, and day-of parking sales start 6 hours out.
Can you grill at Reser Stadium?
Yes, in the lots. Keep it attended with an extinguisher or a big jug of water nearby, never under a tent, and put it out completely before you leave. No grills or tailgating in the parking structure, roof included.
Can you drink at Oregon State tailgates?
Yes, with limits. Non-bulk drinks are allowed in lots that aren't signed closed to tailgating, as long as food and non-alcoholic drinks are out too. No kegs without university approval, and no open containers on sidewalks or outside approved lots.
Do you need a ticket to tailgate?
The posted tailgating rules don't mention a ticket for the lots. You need a pass for a reserved lot, and everyone who goes into the stadium needs a ticket.
How do you buy parking?
The lots around Reser are reserved season passes. Everyone else buys day of: zone lots go on sale 6 hours before kickoff, cash only. Single-game presale passes are sold by zone, not by lot.

What to eat

There's no re-entry, so the first move out is your last one. Your options, best first:
- Take the shuttle back. Return shuttles leave from the same Jefferson Way stops for about an hour after the game.
- Route around 26th St. It's closed between Washington Way and Western Blvd on game day.
- Or let the lot empty first. Pack up slow. Nobody's handing out points for being first onto Western Blvd.
