Wagons & carts
A tailgate wagon is for the walk from a far lot: load the cooler, chairs and food once and make one trip. Choose by the ground and the distance. Big balloon wheels handle sand and grass, and an electric wagon does the pulling on a long walk.
Which wagon for which lot
- Short walk, any surface: the Luxel Folding Beach Wagon, manual, rated to 300 lbs on 9-inch balloon tires.
- Long walk on gravel or grass: the Luxel CEC-2BR, electric, pulls up to 220 lbs for up to 3 miles a charge, and its tabletop turns it into a serving table. Not built for soft sand.
- Long walk on sand or soft grass: the Luxel 500W, electric, moves up to 250 lbs at up to 3.4 mph on balloon wheels.
Is an electric wagon worth it for tailgating?
If you park far out or walk in over grass and hills, yes: the motor pulls the load, and the 500W still rolls like a regular wagon if the battery runs out. For a short walk on pavement, a manual wagon does the job for less.
