What it is

A tailgate usually has one folding table, and the drinks and the food fight over it. The Dubler puts both in one cooler: up to 24 cans or bottles on ice on one side, a half-size food pan on the other. It comes with three divided condiment trays, two clear dome lids and an aluminum ice scoop that doubles as an ice bucket.

Revo says the insulation stops the condensation mess, so it works on a kitchen island as well as a tailgate, and that the Dubler floats. It's 24.5 × 14 × 7.5 inches and weighs 13 lbs. Add Revo's heat packs and the food side keeps food warm; add the chill boards and it keeps a spread cold. Revo says it's made in the USA and backs it with a 5-year warranty.

Dubler, HEAT or Party Barge? Most people: the Dubler, drinks on one side and cold food on the other. Get the Dubler HEAT if you bring hot food to a lot that bans open flames; it's a flameless chafer. Get the Party Barge if it's all drinks for a big crew.

    Two clear dome lids keep the bugs out. Hand grips on the sides.
